Six-in-One Networking Solution

The DGFV338 is a comprehensive and affordable networking solution offering both wired and wireless connectivity with business-class protection for small office and remote/branch office users. It combines six functions in a single, compact package – Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall, 802.11b/g wireless access point, IPSec Virtual Private Network (VPN), NAT router, an eight port 10/100 fast Ethernet switch and built-in ADSL2+ modem.

  

Wired & Wireless Networking

Easy and reliable, the DGFV338 delivers both 10 and 100Mbps Ethernet connections for wired devices, plus wireless support at 2.4Ghz frequency at 54Mbps radio transmission with up to 108Mbps in 802.11g/b.

  

Secure Communication

Much more than a standard broadband router, the ProSafe™ DGFV338 features an SPI firewall, which provides business-class protection, preventing unwanted users from accessing the company’s network. Support for WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 Enterprise) shields wireless communication with the highest available level encryption and authentication in the industry. In addition to the SP Firewall and WPA2 the DGFV338 provides comprehensive controls to block or filter unwanted addresses, services, protocols and URLs.
  

Ideal Solution for Remote Offices & Workers

The DGFV338 Wireless Firewall is easy to set-up and use, delivering all the advantages of centralised administration for remote offices, field workers and growing businesses. Up to fifty simultaneous IPSec VPN connections protect links between business locations and remove users encrypting all traffic as it transfers over the Internet. A built-in wireless access point extends the network’s range and provides easy-to-access, yet secure, networking connectivity for visitors and remote workers visiting the office. Providing support for ADSL2+, the DGFV338 also supports an Ethernet WAN port for failover on non-ADSL connections.
