POWER OVER ETHERNET SWITCHES

Switches with Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled ports are able to transmit data and power over a single cable to power and communicate with wireless devices; e.g. wireless access points, surveillance cameras or IP phones. All PoE switches are Fast Ethernet:

• unmanaged fast ethernet (with basic switching features only)
• smart managed fast ethernet (with entry-level management)
• layer 3 managed fast ethernet (with full management)
• smart Managed Gigabit Ethernet (with entry-level management)
